During China-Arab University Presidents Forum held in Yinchuan at Ningxia Hui, China in the duration from 10/09/2015 to 14/09/2015; Benha University has signed the document of joining to the Alliance of Ancient Silk Road Universities which includes 100 universities for cooperation and exchange to contribute in developing the peoples throughout openness and cooperation in the fields of higher education.

  Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Maher Hasab El Naby Khalil, the Advisor to the University President for Scientific Research and the Supervisor of the Scientific Research Fund; the University organizes a workshop at the faculty of veterinary medicine under the title of “Supporting and Monitoring the Research Projects of the University Young Researchers” that will be held on Wednesday, 09/09/2015. 

   In the frame of Benha University openness to the world, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Iraqy, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture traveled on Tuesday, 01/09/2015 to Ohio University - USA in a10-day scientific visit to find out the latest scientific achievements in the field of agricultural sciences and to sign cooperation protocol between the University and Ohio University in the field of scientific research and student exchange. 

On Saturday, 05/09/2015 the events of the 1st International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Science, Benha University will be launched under the title of “Role of Applied Science in the Development and Community Service” under the auspices of Prof. Dr. El Sayed Abdel Khalek, the Minister of Higher Education; Prof. Dr. Khaled Fahmy, the Minister of State for Environment; and Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University.
